Recently refurbished apartment with one bedroom and sofa bed in lounge. South-facing balcony with stunning views over Chamonix to the Mont Blanc range opposite. On hill 10 mins walk up from centre of Chamonix. Just about enough room for a family of 4, very comfortable for a couple who wish to have separate sleeping and living areas. 1 1/2 hours drive from Geneva. Private parking available immediately outside. Railway station 15 minutes walk, so it is possible to arrive by train. Very good local rail and bus transport, but useful to have the flexibility of a car. Plenty of wonderful walks in the Chamonix valley, up into the mountains, and in/from nearby valleys. N.B. THIS IS OUR HOLIDAY HOME. We rent it through a Chamonix holiday rental agency during the busy ski and Summer seasons. But we are happy to do a home swap out-of-season i.e. from April to June inclusive and from September to November inclusive, in fact Spring and Autumn are incredibly beautiful in Chamonix, and quieter! BUT BECAUSE THE APARTMENT IS AVAILABLE TO LET THROUGH OUR AGENCY ALL YEAR ROUND, PLEASE CONFIRM WITH US THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN BOOKED FOR ANY DATES IN WHICH YOU MAY BE INTERESTED DURING THESE "LOW SEASON" PERIODS.
