Beautiful and spacious double fronted 3 bedroom 1850’s modern style cottage in Yarm, a market town in North Yorkshire. Beautifully restored cottage within central Yarm, close to bars, restaurants and boutique shops. The house is spacious, comfortable and well maintained.
Situated on a quiet road only a 2 minute walk to Yarm High Street. Comes with private parking spaces for 2 cars and can supply additional on street parking permits if required.
2 minute walk to the river Tees with small boat launching capability. Fantastic river walks right on your doorstep with the added convenience of being close to all local amenities.
Downstairs the cottage consists of a large lounge/diner with log burner, 2 large bay windows and side window.
Large kitchen with range cooker (double oven, separate grill, hot places etc), plenty of cupboard space, american style fridge freezer (we`ll be taking the dog cage with us). You could fit another table in the kitchen once the dog cage is removed.
Cloakroom with additional coat hanging space.
Oak flooring throughout downstairs.
Heading upstairs there is a bright landing, one very large master suite with built in wardrobes and super king size bed (recently replaced the mattress).
One large en-suite double with views over the historic Yarm viaduct.
One single room with child`s high sleeper bed, desk and wardrobe.
Luxurious cream carpet throughout.
Master bathroom suite with freestanding roll top bath.

Outside there is a nice garden / patio with railway sleeper borders and various pretty plant pots. There is a BBQ, a new black rattan sofa bed, table and chairs. There is also a garage which can be accessed via the patio garden which can be used to store bikes etc and also has a separate washer and dryer.

Situated on a quiet back road but only a 2 minute walk to Yarm High Street. Yarm is a bustling market town with a great mixture of independent shops, bars and restaurants. There`s some lovely clothes shops and the best wine bar ever.

Yarm is a very friendly cosmopolitan town and we have the best neighbours on our street, it has a real community feel with little crime or anti social behaviour.
We`re a 80 minute drive to the Lake District, 1 hour from Newcastle and 40 mins from Durham, 1 hour to Leeds and 45 minutes to York. Close enough to cities but far away enough to have a more relaxed stay.
